ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - CVICU Job Details: • Work 12.5-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 36 guaranteed hours per week • Rotating weekend schedule • No call requirements • Must float to other units per Methodist Floating Policy • 13 or 26 week assignment length available • Require 2 years ICU experience • Must have experience with hemodynamic monitoring including Swan-Ganz catheters and arterial lines • Ventilator management experience required • Strong critical thinking skills essential • ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required • Active Texas RN license required (no temporary licenses accepted) • Preferred skills include IABP exposure, CRRT exposure, and Meditech charting experience • Handle post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-catheterization patients with various cardiac support devices • Use Meditech documentation system • Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants with navy or white scrub jacket • Must badge in/out for shifts and take full 30-minute lunch break • Clock in time 6:38 AM/PM required (after 6:45 considered tardy) Facility: This hospital opened in 1963 as the first facility in the internationally acclaimed South Texas Medical Center and has been providing high-quality care for over 50 years.
