Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Hospital: Methodist Hospital Location: San Antonio Unit: MSICU (7C) (651) Classification: RN - MSICU Shift Detail: 7P-7:30A Building/Floor/Suite information of unit: General Information Shift Details- Please correct information below if needed: - Quantity: - Assignment Length: 13 weeks - Shift/Workdays: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A - Weekend – Rotating - Call Requirements: No - Guaranteed Hours: 36 - Special Skills/Experience required: 2 Years All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing: - Documentation system: Meditech - Unit Guidelines: - Badging in and out for shift is required along with taking a full 30 minute lunch. - Be on time for scheduled shifts (Clock in time 6:38 am/pm, after 6:45 is considered tardy) Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) - Strong critical thinking skills - Minimum 2-3 years or more ICU experience - ACLS - BLS - NIH Stoke Certification Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) - MICU & MSICU background - Meditech charting/ order entry Preferred Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN) - ACTIVE TX RN License – TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED Procedures performed on unit: - Chest tubes, trachs, GI scopes - Intubations, central lines, art lines - NG Tubes, Foley Catherers, Dressing Changes Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. - Scrub Color - RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket - Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy - Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed - Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible.
