Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home is seeking a Director of Clinical Education to lead training and development initiatives while driving exceptional clinical standards in our community. Your Role & Impact: As the Director of Clinical Education , you will play a vital role in creating a premier healthcare environment by: Designing, implementing, and evaluating staff education programs , including general orientation and skills training . Identifying training needs and ensuring compliance by serving on the QAPI Committee . S erves as the Infection Preventionist in the center. Responsible for surveillance, evaluating trends and responding with any training or reporting needs Responsible for reporting findings from Infection Control surveillance and the nosocomial rate monthly to the QAPI committee May be required to fulfill the job functions of a direct care nurse as determined by the needs of the patients/residents and community What You Bring: Current and valid Texas RN license . Previous nurse education, infection control, and clinical leadership experience in skilled nursing A commitment to ongoing learning, professional development, and clinical excellence .
