Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced in
nuclear medicine, PET, and PET/CT, with ARRT (N) or CNMT
certification and at least one year of experience. /n /n
Responsibilities/n - Work in an imaging department performing
nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures including planar,
SPECT, and SPECT/CT - Position is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to
3:30 PM - Call coverage is required - Patient populations range
from newborn to geriatric - Utilizes PACS and EMR systems for image
management - Maroon scrubs are required - Perform and assess high
quality nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic imaging to assist in
disease diagnosis - Adhere to safety, infection control, and
radiation protocols throughout all procedures - Educate and
communicate with patients and families regarding procedures and
radiation safety - Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff,
and medical team to ensure optimal patient care and workflow -
Maintain and perform quality control on imaging equipment in
coordination with engineers and physicists - Serve as a trainer for
new staff and students when needed /n /n Requirements/n - Active TX
license required if applicable - ARRT (N) or CNMT certification
required - BLS (AHA only) required - Minimum of 1 year nuclear
medicine experience required - Must provide two professional
references - Flu vaccination is mandatory during flu season
(August–November); no exemptions granted - Must live at least 50
miles from the facility (no local travelers accepted) /n Benefits/n
