working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Austin,
Texas, 78704! Job Title: RN - ECMO/CVICU Profession: Registered
Nurse Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN
License Certifications: ECMO Experience Required Must-Have: -
Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms - Experience with
titratable drips - Understanding of hemodynamics - Experience with
respiratory patients: vents, Bipap, trachs, airvo - Experience with
open heart surgery recovery - Experience with ECMO, Impella,
balloon pumps - Experience with CRRT/SLED Description: This is a
contract position for an RN specializing in ECMO and CVICU. The
contract duration is for 13 weeks. Night shift hours are from 7:00
PM to 7:00 AM. No call is required for this position. The unit has
8 beds and operates with a staff of 25, including day and night
shift charges. The patient ratio is typically 1:1 or 2:1. The unit
utilizes advanced equipment such as GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV
pumps, Centrimag ECMO circuits, and Impella devices. Additional
responsibilities include central line and chest tube insertion,
bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and intubation. Ideal candidates
should be team players with a positive attitude and adaptability.
Dress code requires navy scrubs. This opportunity offers a
