Registered Nurse Oncology will play a crucial role in providing
specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cancer treatments.
Our Oncology Nurses are pivotal in executing our mission to improve
and sustain the highest standards of patient care, ensuring
treatment plan adherence, patient education, and emotional support.
This position involves working closely with oncologists, managing
therapies, and participating in research initiatives to further our
commitment to fighting cancer. Provide direct nursing care in
accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of
HCA Healthcare. Administer medications, monitor patient responses,
and adjust care plans as needed. Educate patients and family
members on treatment expectations, side effects, and post-treatment
care. Work collaboratively with oncologists to execute
comprehensive treatment plans. Participate in research and
continuous quality improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate
patient records and document patient care services. Strong clinical
skills in oncology nursing Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to respond effectively to the most
sensitive inquiries or complaints High level of compassion and
patience with patients Proficient in using electronic health
