for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local
Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of
recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be
able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon
successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral
bonus available. Opportunity: RN - CVICU Job Details: • Work
12.5-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM •
Guaranteed 36 hours per week • 13-26 week assignment length •
Rotating weekend schedule • No call requirements • Float to other
units as required by Methodist Floating Policy • Must have 2 years
ICU experience • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH • Must
have experience with hemodynamic monitoring (Swan-Ganz catheters,
arterial lines) • Ventilator management experience required •
Strong critical thinking skills essential • Preferred experience
with IABP and CRRT • Meditech charting/order entry experience
preferred • Active Texas RN license required (no temporary licenses
accepted) • Handle procedures including post-CABG, post-VAD, and
post-catheterization patients with various cardiac support devices
• Work with IABP, Impella, and ECMO equipment • Documentation
system: Meditech • Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or
white scrub jacket • Must badge in/out for shifts and take full
30-minute lunch break • Clock in time: 6:38 AM/PM (after 6:45
