Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg Level I for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Full-time position with temp-to-perm opportunity available /n• Care for patients on 9th floor rehab unit and 11th floor surgical and respiratory unit /n• Mix of patient types across floors due to census fluctuations /n• Epic experience preferred for charting and documentation /n• Trach/Vent and Hi flow experience recommended but not required /n• Rehabilitation experience recommended but not required /n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only) /n• RN License in Texas or compact state required /n• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred /n• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred /n• Provide routine and complex patient care utilizing the nursing process /n• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects /n• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided /n• Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education /n• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families /n• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers /n/n Facility: /n This is a specialized children's hospital that provides comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical services.
