for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date:
03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12
hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum
of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required.
Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for
extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.
$750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - CVICU Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Full-time
position with ASAP start required • Must have pediatric cardiac
experience with chest tubes, pacing wires, ventilators, and
vasoactive infusions • Required certifications: Current BLS (AHA
only), ACLS (AHA only), and PALS (AHA only) • Texas RN license or
compact license required • One year of critical care experience
preferred but will accept new graduates • Bachelor of Science
Degree in Nursing preferred • Must attend New Nurses Orientation
within first 30 days of hire • Complete designated organizational
entry competency validation and Critical Care Department-specific
competency validation • Provide routine and complex nursing care
using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis,
planning, intervention and evaluation • Administer medications and
treatments while monitoring for side-effects and treatment
effectiveness • Document patient history, symptoms, medications,
and care provided • Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and
social needs of patients and families • Assess learning needs and
provide education to patients, families, and caregivers • Make
appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers •
