ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU -
Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in San Antonio,
Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric
Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights -
Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local
Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of
recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be
able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon
successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral
bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour
night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Full-time position with ASAP
start availability required • Must have ventilator and pediatric
ICU experience • 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty
preferred • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred •
Required certifications: Current BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only),
PALS (AHA only) • RN License in Texas or compact state required •
Provide routine and complex care for pediatric intensive care
patients • Practice independently while demonstrating awareness of
all clinical situations • Administer medications and treatments
using appropriate protocols • Monitor for side-effects and
treatment effectiveness • Document patient history, symptoms,
medications, and care provided • Assess learning needs and provide
education to patients, families, and caregivers • Address complex
psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients
and families • Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other
care providers • Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30
days of hire • Complete all annual competency verification
requirements • Temp to perm position possible Facility: This
