HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Adult ICU Transport team, focused on providing top-tier patient care during critical transitions. This specialized role is crucial for maintaining continuity and quality of care for ICU patients during transport between facilities. The ideal candidate will apply their critical care expertise and exceptional decision-making skills to ensure safe and efficient patient transport, adhering strictly to established protocols and safety standards. Assess patient condition and plan for transport, incorporating care needs and anticipated challenges. Collaborate with medical teams to prepare for transport, ensuring all necessary medical equipment and supports are in place. Monitor patient status continuously during transport, managing any medical emergencies or changes in condition. Document patient care and transport specifics comprehensively in medical records. Educate and support patients' families about the transport process and ongoing care plans. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Critical care nursing Emergency response Medical equipment operation Strong communication and documentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in applicable state Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in Adult Critical Care (CCRN) preferred
