This pivotal role involves caring for patients recovering from anesthesia, including monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and ensuring a smooth recovery post-surgery. Monitor patients' vital signs and levels of consciousness during the recovery phase post-surgery Administer medications to manage pain and prevent complications Provide post-operative education and support to patients and their families Assess patients for discharge and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate and complete records of nursing assessments and interventions Strong assessment and monitoring skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in administering medications and managing pain Knowledge of post-anesthesia care procedures and protocols Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
