Job Description:
HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Cath
Holding area, providing expert pre-operative and post-operative
care for patients undergoing catheterization procedures. In this
dynamic role, you will work closely with cardiologists to prepare
patients for procedures, monitor their recovery, and ensure
top-notch cardiovascular care in accordance with our commitment to
improving human life. This position requires a keen attention to
detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of
cardiac care protocols. Prepare patients for catheterization,
including explaining procedures and answering questions. Monitor
patients' condition and vital signs pre- and post-procedure, and
report any unusual changes to the cardiologist. Administer
medications as prescribed and observe reactions. Advocate for
patient needs as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Maintain
documentation of patient care services by auditing records and
reports. Ensure all protocols and safety measures are followed to
provide the highest quality of care. Strong nursing skills with a
focus on cardiovascular care. Ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced, stressful environment. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Proficient in using medical software for
patient care management. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice. BLS Certification. ACLS Certification
preferred.
