Job Description:
HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of medical services, is
seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our
Stepdown Unit. This role requires managing patient care in a
high-monitoring environment where patients are not sick enough for
the ICU but require more intensive care than provided on standard
units. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to
implement nursing processes for our diverse patient population
focusing on quality of life and optimal recovery. Assess, plan, and
implement patient care plans in a stepdown unit Monitor patient
vitals and progress, and respond to medical emergencies Educate
patients and families on treatment plans Coordinate with healthcare
professionals to optimize patient outcomes Ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and standards Strong clinical skills in a
hospital setting Proficiency in electronic healthcare record
systems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current registered
nurse license in state of practice BLS/ACLS certification CCRN
preferred but not required
