Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse in the Burn Unit at HCA Healthcare, you
will be specifically trained to provide care for patients suffering
from burns, managing treatment plans, monitoring their recovery,
and supporting them through one of the most critical times of their
lives. Our specialized unit ensures that as part of our dedicated
team, you will work in a dynamic environment that upholds the
highest standards of care for burn victims. You will operate within
a supportive framework of seasoned healthcare professionals,
offering an integrated approach to treat patients with compassion.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in
collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications,
wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions. Operate
medical equipment and monitor patient responses to treatment.
Educate patients and their families on burn care processes.
Document and maintain accurate patient records. Actively
participate in continuous educational activities to keep up-to-date
with the latest in burn care and treatment. Proficient in advanced
burn care and wound management. Strong critical thinking and
problem-solving skills. Ability to handle high stress, fast-paced
environments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
401k Valid RN license in the state of employment. Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) certification preferred. Certified Burn Nurse (CBN)
certification is strongly desired.
