Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Hospital Dietary Aide to
join our team in providing exceptional nutritional services within
our healthcare facilities. As a leader in integrated healthcare

care facilitated by a compassionate team. In this role, you will be
integral in ensuring that all patients receive tailored dietary
support based on medical advice and personal preferences. This
position requires attention to detail, ability to adhere to dietary
guidelines, and a passion for assisting in the well-being of
individuals under medical care. Prepare and serve meals to patients
based on specific dietary requirements. Ensure strict compliance
with hygiene and safety standards in food handling. Assist in the
planning and implementation of meal plans under the supervision of
a dietitian. Monitor patient food intake and report on their
nutritional status. Maintain clear and accurate records of food
supplies and patient diets. Communicate effectively with healthcare
providers about patient needs and preferences. Assist in the
inventory management and ordering of dietary supplies and foods.
Knowledge of nutrition and dietary needs. Proficiency in
maintaining hygiene and safety protocols in food handling. Ability
to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Excellent
organizational and communication skills. Capability to work
effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Food Handler's
Certificate or willing to undergo training upon hiring. CPR and
First-Aid certifications preferred.
