Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CRNAs, Nurse Anesthetists, and Advanced Practice Anesthesia Professionals looking to work in a high-acuity clinical environment alongside dedicated surgical and anesthesia teams covering a diverse and engaging caseload.Locum CRNA ResponsibilitiesAdminister and manage anesthesia for general, orthopedic, and OB surgical casesPerform regional nerve blocks and neuraxial anesthesia techniquesConduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plansMonitor patient hemodynamics and physiological parameters throughout procedures, adjusting anesthesia as neededCollaborate with surgeons, obstetricians, and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomesMaintain accurate, timely anesthesia documentation and recordsLocum CRNA RequirementsCurrent CRNA certification through NBCRNAActive Texas APRN licensure or ability to obtain prior to startExperience with general, orthopedic, OB, and regional block casesCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsAbility to work independentlyStrong clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical environmentScheduleFlexible scheduling: 3x12s (standalone or with an additional 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shift) OR 2x12s combined with 2x10s or 2x8sNon-consecutive shift scheduling requiredJob HighlightsDiverse caseload general, ortho, blocks, and OBFlexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyleCollaborative, high-quality clinical environment in San Antonio, TXWhy Join Vigilant Healthcare Solutions?
