Master's Prepared Civilian Certified Athletic Trainers

MedTrust -is hiring Certified Athletic Trainers to support the - program at Military Facilities at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. - -

Position Details:

• 
  
• No Federal Holidays
  
• Normal hours of operation will be nine (9) hours in length including a one (1) hour lunchbreak, Monday through Friday.
  
• Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), TX area;Lackland Air Force Base (AFB), Lackland Medina Annex, and Camp Bullis.

    Responsibilities
    Shall partner with other Athletic Trainers and Sports Medicine Physician(s) toensure clinical care objectives are met, keeping patient safety and quality, trusted care atthe highest level of priority; assist with duties pursuant to oversight of the Athletic TrainingProgram, including CPI efforts and research initiatives with the goal of improving patientcare in support of the training mission.
    Qualifications
    
    • 
      
    • Master's Degree from a CAATE accredited ATEP inAthletic Training.
      
    • Master's degree must have five (5) or more years ofexperience in diagnosing, treating, and/or preventing musculoskeletal injuries in a highschool, collegiate, professional, or military settings.
      
    • All athletic trainer(regardless of position) shall be certified by the National Athletic Trainers' AssociationBoard of Certification (NATABOC). Must maintain current certification withthe NATABOC throughout the period of their employment, as per the most up-to-daterequirements
      
    • Basic Life Support
      
    • Current, full, active, and unrestricted Texas state license.
