GENERAL SUMMARY
Reporting to the CIO, this position will work as an Agile Project Manager for multiple information technology projects including improvement of existing software systems and processes, integration of software systems, and testing, piloting and implementation of new software systems. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with the proven ability to work with non-technical users to understand business needs, and drive multiple projects to improve technology applications and how they are used. The Project Manager is responsible for cross-departmental projects to improve applications and processes. This position coordinate with internal IT Staff, end users, and existing software vendors and consultants to ensure we utilize all applicable functions of our applications efficiently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle various responsibilities such as planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing all aspect of assigned projects.
  • Should be comfortable to work with any of the agile modules.
  • Decide deadlines and budget of the project accordingly.
  • Establishes project goals and creates plans to meet goals
  • Tracks and maintains project timeframes, status reports, and risk assessments
  • Compile historical data with the team and present it for reference of CHCS leadership and the team members on the project.
  • Present status reports of the project to the CHCS leadership
  • Help in the development and implementation of agile projects
  • Assist in team development by removing road-blocks to their work, mentoring them and making a good utilization of organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
  • Tracks existing and new application projects and requests to completion

    MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS
    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Public Health, or a related field
    • Five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience in project management, performance management and supervisory experience.

      Licenses or Certifications

      • Project Management Certification (PMP)

        PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

        • Master's Degree

          SUPERVISION

          • Work requires supervising and monitoring performance for a regular group of employees (2 or more full-time employees) including providing input on hiring/disciplinary actions and work objectives/ effectiveness, performance evaluations, and realigning work as needed.

                  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements to complete SAMA and CPR training including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to 55 lbs.; bending, stooping and getting on and off the floor without assistance.
                  • Must have adequate mobility that requires frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching (vertical and horizontal), using fingers, hands, feet, legs and torso in various care. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
