Position Announcement Position: Customer Software SpecialistDepartment: Field AdminReports To: Field Admin ManagerSalary grade: DOEFLSA Status: Full time/ Non-Exempt/ HourlyLocation: San Antonio Description The Customer Software Specialist is responsible for the overseeing of customers' daily connectivity to the data records software (FMA). This position can also include live assistance with installation, connectivity, reporting, alerts, and follow through on network/software related activities. He/she must be able to clearly identify the issues that our customers are experiencing; determine the level of support that will be required to assist our customers. Ideally this person will have the skill-set to trouble-shoot minor problems such as network disconnects, creating new accounts, daily audits. The Customer Software Specialist will also be the main point of contact for customer FMA accounts by communicating with customers and any internal department for the network connectivity of delivered machines. Responsibilities

  • Insure each FMA account is properly
  • Provides support to customers on network connection
  • Communicate and interact with Internal and External customers
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate
  • Communicate and interact with customers, field service, sales, management, and administration in a way that is courteous, positive and professional
  • Responsible for maintaining, alert implementation and administration
  • Updating audits timely and accurately
  • Monitor account activity
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate by phone, in writing and-or in person
  • Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on projects-activities to completion
  • Provide first level contact for all users with software and applications problems
  • Provide end user support-resolution as expertise permits using the available tools and processes

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
    • Experience using E-Auto and FM Audit preferred Education & Certification
      • High School Diploma or GED required
      • Some College preferred
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Physical Requirements
        • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
        • Ability to occasionally stand, stoop, bend, and kneel
        • Occasionally lift 10-30 pounds Special Requirements
