Who We Are:The Network and Telecommunications team supports all aspects of SwRI's Enterprise network and telecommunications infrastructure. This includes core routing and switching, wireless infrastructure, fiber and cable plant, VoIP operations and network performance monitoring.Objectives of this Role:Engineering and administrative support of SwRI's wired and wireless infrastructure.Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:Monitor existing infrastructure for issues and outages.Repair as needed.Collaborate with teams from other IT disciplines to ensure delivery of network services to support enterprise requirements.Recommend, purchase, configure and deploy equipment for new requirements and as required to maintain currency of technical capabilities.Create and maintain documentation of systems and equipment.Monitor vulnerabilities and apply software updates and configuration changes to meet security requirements.Requirements:Requires a Bachelors in Computer Science or IT-related discipline requiredCisco and/or Aruba Professional Level certifications strongly desired6 years: Cisco and/or Aruba wired networking experience both routing and switching requiredCisco and/or Aruba wireless networking experience with Controller requiredAirwave Management Platform, Mobility Conductor and Clearpass Policy Manager experience a plusExperience with SNMP monitoring and tap infrastructure desired.Solarwinds and Netscout experience is a plusA valid/clear driver's license is requiredPDN-99253cdf-2ae9-4839-b977-691c2fb9614d
