Who We Are:Join the Operation System Support Section; we provide Windows support to the SwRI administrative cost centers and to technical divisions as needed. This team is also responsible for managing the Microsoft Exchange mail environment on-prem and in the online M365 Cloud.Objectives of this Role:Support of the Microsoft Exchange environment; to include the provisioning of user accounts, applying patches and upgrades to the on-prem Exchange environment and supporting Exchange online in the Microsoft M365 cloud. Managing a hybrid Exchange mail environment.Support and maintenance of email clients used on multiple platforms to include Windows, Linux, and mobile devices.Support and maintenance of email technologies in use by the organization; to include Spam filtering services like Proofpoint, and mail encryption.Support in an Enterprise environment managing Active Directory. Skills include provisioning and management of user and computer objects, management and troubleshooting of Windows technologies.Work independently, and suggest, develop, and implement new process and procedural improvements.Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:Maintaining existing Microsoft Windows and Exchange technologies in use and other 3rd party Windows/email applications.Maintain and monitor the health of the Microsoft Exchange server environment; to include applying patches and upgrading as necessary.Support user requests for email services and email client software on multiple platforms to include Windows, Linux, and mobile devices.Maintain Microsoft Windows servers and hardware.Requirements:Requires a Bachelors in Information Technology or related with 2 years experienceThose without a Bachelors degree must have 5 years of professional level experience2 years: Microsoft Windows Server administration in support of Microsoft services in an enterprise environment2 years: Managing a Microsoft Exchange server hybrid environment at an enterprise level; working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange online, O365, and Azure preferred.1 year: Working knowledge of mail protocols to include SMTP, and SPFMicrosoft certifications relating to the support of Microsoft technologies (MCSA, MCSE) and Exchange, Exchange online, and Azure certifications preferredOther protocols like DMARC, DKIM a plusA valid/clear driver's license is requiredPDN-99213729-2f1d-4347-9308-2740ca3efb28
