Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Technician to join their team onsite in San Antonio, TX and provide end-user support. The ideal candidate must have a valid license, clean MVR, and personal reliable transportation as some driving will be required for this role. Skills and Qualifications: Technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills include core business systems, applications, hardware and software, printers, and networks Experience imaging PCs Experience working with incident management tools and software packages Knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite and other relevant software programs Problem solving and analytical skills to understand the technical implications of business decisions and requests Excellent customer service skills with well-developed interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, tact, and discretion Must demonstrate active listening skills that can collect accurate and detailed information Capability to learn and support new applications Ability to defuse tense situations and focus on the issue at hand Verbal communication that is polished, professional, and easy to understand over the phone when needed Written communication is clear and concise, and includes proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation Ability to translate technical language into user-friendly information Team player with strong work ethics, standards, initiative, attention to detail, and quality orientation Adept at working in a fast paced, changing environment while serving the needs of multiple stakeholders Wage Range: The rate for this position is between $15.51 - $20.68 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
