This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to work on a variety of complex legal issues, providing legal opinions and managing litigation. The successful candidate will be involved in dispute resolution, legal writing, civil litigation, legal research, managing legal liability, case management, and providing legal advice. This role will also involve trial practice and offers the chance to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.Responsibilities:As a Permanent Litigation Associate - Bankruptcy, your responsibilities will include:1. Handling a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, effectively managing all aspects of the litigation process from initiation to resolution.2. Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.3. Drafting, reviewing, and revising various legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.4. Providing sound legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal issues, ensuring that they are fully informed of their legal rights and obligations.5. Representing clients in court, presenting arguments and evidence in a clear, compelling, and persuasive manner.6. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective management of all cases.7. Participating in dispute resolution processes such as mediation and arbitration, advocating for clients' interests and seeking to achieve favorable outcomes.8. Keeping abreast of current legal trends, rulings, and legislative developments relevant to our practice area.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Permanent Litigation Associate role will have:1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.2. Bar Admission in the State of Texas.3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, with a proven track record of success.4. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.5. Excellent legal writing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal issues and arguments clearly and effectively.6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.7. The ability to manage a high-volume caseload, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.8. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.9.
