Are you a HUMINT & CI subject matter expert who can jump right in
as part of a multi-disciplined analytical team supporting analysis
and data processing embedded within a PED Site as part of an
Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigades and/or Division G2
section?*This position requires travel. Preference will be given to
those in or around San Antonio, TX, others outside the SW may be
considered.The selected individual will provide HUMINT & CI
analytical and operations support and integration into the
preparation of all-source intelligence products to support the
combat commander. Duties include:
- Execute the process of receiving and processing incoming
reports and messages; determining the significance and reliability
of incoming information; establish and maintain systematic,
cross-referenced intelligence records and files; integrate incoming
information with current intelligence holdings and prepare and
maintain graphics; support the conduct of IPB using information
from all sources; conduct intelligence support to the targeting
process; and develop and deliver oral and written HUMINT & CI
- Provide instruction, instructional assistance, and appropriate
scenario development support for intelligence personnel, teams,
leaders, and units in support of HUMINT and CI analysis and the use
of approved automated tools.
- Support the development of a plan to maintain key
certifications and track the status of certifications; Provide
recommendations for improvements to operations, methods, and
materials for the supported units. Conduct training needs
- Support participation of the MI Training Strategy (MITS)
- Know how to engage in research and analysis to maintain subject
matter currency and relevancy to contribute to the updating of
course materials and documentation..
- At least eight years' Federal Government (military or civilian)
experience, with a service specific HUMINT and/or CI MOS or HUMINT
and/or CI career path At least 5 years applied experience in HUMINT
and/or Targeting and HUMINT and/or CI collection, and experience
conducting pattern of life analysis, social network analysis,
and/or HUMAN Factors analysis. Two years' of above experience must
have been documented operational experience performing Military
Source Operations (MSO) at echelons corps and below and/or in a
staff assignment in a CJ-2X, J-2X, JTF 2X, or other joint HUMINT
oriented staff/leadership positions.
- Be familiar with DoD CI and HUMINT enabling and collection
operations management policies and legal authorities, functions,
methodologies, and related IT systems. Working knowledge of Defense
HUMINT Directives Manual (DHDM Vol II).
- Thorough knowledge of all Army regulations pertaining to HUMINT
& CI. Familiar with the re-alignment of FM 2-0 and FM 3-0;
understanding of the LSCO timing of CUOPS/FUOPS/Plans from team to
DIV/CORPS. Working knowledge of the Intelligence Preparation of the
Battlefield (IPB), and the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP)
as it pertains to HUMINT & CI.
- Possess knowledge of HUMINT & CI Operations and be able to
instruct students on the application of HUMINT & CI operations and
how to conduct HUMINT Targeting analysis against many different
hard targets. Experience with debriefing and interrogations
- Working knowledge of the HUMINT Enterprise, authorities and
oversight, and DIA. Experience with analysis of Intelligence
Information Reports (IIR)s/HUMINT Reports (HR)s. Experience with IC
IIRs; have field reporter number (FRN) and knowledge of approved
DoD HUMINT collection databases. Experience producing and providing
feedback on IIR/HR, evaluations and collection requirements. i.e.:
source directed requirements (SDR)s, time sensitive collection
requirements (TSCR)s, ad-hoc collection requirements (AHCR)s, and
supports source validation.
- Experience with the DoD FORMICA program.
- Experience working with Army Counterintelligence operating
Portal (ACOP). Experience with debriefing and investigative
methodologies. Experience with IC IIRs; have or have had a field
reporter number (FRN) and knowledge of approved DoD HUMINT
- Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office products Excel, Word,
Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with various instructional
tools including web-based, classroom, and video-teleconferencing.
Experience with SIPRNet search engines and database retrieval tools
such as QueryTree and M3 or other approved DoD tools.Education &
- Minimum of a 2-year degree.
- Current TS/SCI clearance; US Citizenship required.
- Preferred Qualification: -Graduate of the Army Basic Instructor
Course (ABIC) or equivalent Intelligence Community instructor
course (i.e., NGA College, NSA ADET, etc.).
- Be a graduate of a recognized IC level HUMINT course (DSDC,
DOSOC, DATC, AMSOC, SOC, AMSOC, ASOC, ASOTIII, FTC, OTC, OHTC,
HDOC, MAGTF-CI/HUMINT, HCOM, HCMO, HCMC, OSOC, HDOC, OHTC, etc.).
Shall have working experience with MOS 18F,35F, 35L, 35M, 351L/M,
97B, 97E, 35E, USMC 0211 or civilian 1811/0132 equivalent.About
