Summary: The Quality Assurance Director is responsible for the support of Residential Services Division programming to include internal and external database review, collection and dissemination of collected data, training and policy purchasing and implementation. To successfully perform this job, the employee may be expected to perform the following, with or without reasonable accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990: Essential Functions: 1. Provide evaluation and supportive services to programs in the residential service division in the areas of compliance, training, policy and accreditation. 2. Serve as a liaison between RSD headquarters and programs in the division. 3. Provide oversight of division safety initiatives and workplace safety data. 4. Provide evaluative oversight of the National School Lunch Program activities and deliverables and supervision of the National School Lunch Program Director. Approval (ADA) Rev. 5/13/19 5. Work irregular days/hours, including nights, holidays and weekends, depending on needs 6. Frequently transverse from one location to another. 7. Meets all deadlines required by program supervisor and federal partners. Measurable Deliverables: 1. Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position. 2. Provide timely and accurate records and bookkeeping data to the Residential Services Executive Director. 3. Provide oversight of data, evaluative tools, and survey information as necessary for the division. 4. Act as a liaison between the policy team and program services ensuring all policy changes are interpreted, developed, trained and implemented. 5. Ensure all training information remains updated according to local, state and federal policy. 6. Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service training and team decisions. 7. Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor. 8. Maintain BCFS HHS professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in BCFS employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times. Credentials, Skills and Abilities: 1. Maintain current licenses and certificates required for the position including, but not limited to: First Aid, CPR and Emergency Behavior Intervention. 2. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment. 3. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request. 4. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks. 5. Demonstrate the ability to: a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics b. Work in a fast paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times c. Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties efficiently. d. Maintain computer literacy required for the position e. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
