We are expanding our Land Development leadership team in the San Antonio area. The Land Development Regional Leader role offers a great opportunity to build upon our solid Land Development civil engineering practice in the San Antonio region while leveraging Jones-Carter's extensive experience and relationships across the company. Relocation is available. Responsibilities The Land Development Regional Leader will be responsible for leading and growing our civil engineering Land Development practice in the region. This position will have an emphasis on projects and clients for Land Development single-family, master planned communities and Site Development. This leadership position has bonus and ownership potential.
      • Lead and develop our Land Development team in the region.
      • Provide technical consulting strategy and input for project planning and design.
      • Develop and maintain relationships and projects with clients, real estate developers, architects, planners, and municipalities.
      • Effectively develop and present technical information and plans.
      • Develop and maintain a business plan for the regional Land Development group.
      • Partner with other Jones-Carter team members and departments.
      • Oversee financial metrics and management. Qualifications
        • 15+ years of experience, including previous roles in project manager and leadership in land development or site development engineering.
        • Technical background should include property evaluations, condition assessments, feasibility analysis, platting, and civil engineering for single family residential developments and/or commercial, institutional, industrial site development projects.
        • Engineering Degree with Professional Engineer license.
        • Experience leading and developing team members.
        • Solid client relationships.
        • Effective communicator - including written, verbal, and presentations.
        • Team-oriented and experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.
