Job Description:The Tooling Technician is responsible for: cleans, maintains, and repairs all injection molds; communicates mold and quality related problems to other technical staff; and troubleshoots mold issues in the press to ensure efficient and safe operation and generation of parts that consistently meet quality requirements. This person is expected to adhere to all, plant, quality, safety, and documentation systems requirements. Essential Tasks/Duties and Responsibilities; Clean injection molds. Tig Welding on steel and aluminum Install/fit replacement components as needed. Perform precision machining of mold components as well as other related production equipment. Troubleshoot mold issues in shop as well as molds in molding presses. Analyze data such as quality dimensional sheets, reading mold prints, and interpreting past work performed as found on tool work orders.Additional Skills & Qualifications:-Operate a manual surface grinder -Operate a manual mill/lathe; Must be able to set up-Knowledge of bits and techniques-Willing to work overtime -Work with little or no supervision VERY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:-Knowledge and experience with hydraulics (preferably on molds)-Basic wiring experience-Tig welding experience with steel and aluminum-High mechanical aptitude -Any Mold/Die repair experiencePay and Shift:Pay - $19-$23/hour (depends on experience and interview)Shift - 1st shift, 12 hour shifts, 3 12-hours shift one week, 4 12-hour shifts the next.Location : South Central San AntonioNEXT STEPS:Apply in the link below and call 405.254.2243 to speak to me directly.This job has 3 openings total that are looking to start Monday, March 1st.MAKE SURE YOUR CONTACT INFO IS CORRECT ON YOUR APPLICATION About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
