Job Description:

As the IT Support Specialist, you will provide advanced support of business applications, computers, systems, and infrastructure. The IT Support Specialist will maintain acceptable levels of customer satisfaction in supporting a broad range of technology solutions, services, and infrastructure. You will be a liaison across multiple areas of the business and its third-party service providers.The IT Support Specialist will report to the IT Manager.You will use your knowledge and specialized skills to provide hands-on support in the Victory's corporate headquarters while providing remote support for branch offices and remote users. Daily activities include implementing new technical solutions, providing high-quality support for computer hardware, software, operating systems, and enterprise applications. Additional responsibilities include learning new technology to become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for administering, training end-users and providing ongoing support. You will participate in new application and hardware rollouts, testing, and other high stake technical special projects.You Will:Support and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests following established procedures.Provide guidance and troubleshooting assistance to the Service Desk, and work with engineers to troubleshoot complex problems.Diagnose problems through discussions with users and coordinate troubleshooting with resolver groups, team members and third-party service providers to resolve problems.Perform as an IT administrator for a suite of applications, either hosted or on prem.Work with application service providers to communicate application requirements, manage deliverables, suggest enhancements, understand setups and configurations, report software bugs, and identify interim work arounds.Work with our management and staff to provide detailed and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions.Communicate technical information to all resources.Install and troubleshoot end-user computing hardware, software, and network related issues.Guide communication between with third-party service providers, vendors, and contractors as they relate to technical operations of IT Systems.Develop technical IT support knowledge of all operational software applications and procedures.Maintain strict workflow processes for IT related changes such as our employee onboarding and terminations.Identify root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.Simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.Solution new technologies and explore new or improved support technology tools and make recommendations to our senior management.Required Qualifications and Experience:High School education or GED equivalent..2+ years of related experience troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.2+ years of experience with networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.2+ years of experience in computer repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation.Desired certifications include Microsoft MCE, MCDST, MCSA or MCSE, together with Cisco CCENT, CCNA or Network+.Mobile Device Support (iOS and Android).Video Teleconference Support.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Grasp new technologies, provide recommendation, and implement.Working knowledge of ITIL concepts.Experience working with offshore outsourced service providers.Shifts may include on-call 24/7 on a rotational basis for Major Incident Response.Willing to work after-hours and nights and weekends minimally.Accommodation Statement:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the responsibilities of this job.
