Job Summary and Qualifications
Seeking a Director of Occupational and Employee Health who is
responsible for management and operations of Occupational
Health/Employee Health at all Methodist Healthcare facilities.
Supervision and Management of Employee Health and Safety Benefit
Plan, Integrated Disability Programs, STD, FMLA, and LOA at all
What you will do in this role:
Management and Operation of Employee Health Department,
Budgeting, Employee Denials, Setting Reserves, Settlements, Dispute
Resolution and Mediations of all on the job injuries.
Works closely with Director Human Resources and Consultants to
implement all federal and State regulations involving employee
Coordination of Employee Health services at all facilities.
Works with managers to implement Employee Health and Safety
Manages Integrated Disability Programs, STD, FMLA, LOA, and
absence management including employee health services programs.
Provides strategic and tactical leadership for 10+
- Manages personnel to include interviewing, work allocation,
orientation and training, staff development, problem resolution,
evaluating performance, making recommendations for personnel
actions, and motivating employees to achieve peak performance. Is
responsible for their employee's output and conduct.
What qualifications you will need:
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, Required Knowledge,
Skill, Abilities and Other Job-Related Characteristics:
Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program.
Experience: Three years of supervisory experience in a clinical
