Our company is organized into five main groups: Executive Office (sets and operationalizes the strategic direction of the company), Human Services (focused on clients such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services), Defense Services (focused on clients such as the U.S. Air Force), Training Services (focused on providing educational services to various government clients), and Service Excellence (focused on continually improving how we deliver client experiences and services across the company).

As a Talent Sourcer, you'll collaborate across the company, working directly with the Head of Recruiting and hiring managers to continually improve Skylight's sourcing strategies, candidate pipelines, and overall recruiting operations.


What you'll do:
Understand Skylight's current and future hiring needs
Develop sourcing strategies for identifying candidates from diverse talent pools, focused mainly on product designers, user researchers, service designers, content designers, product managers, and engagement/delivery managers
Contact and engage candidates to qualify them for technical and cultural fit
Build a robust pipeline of talent using our applicant tracking system
Act as a brand ambassador for Skylight by communicating and championing our valuation proposition in order to attract highly-sought-after talent
Ensure candidates have an excellent recruiting and interviewing experience, regardless of the outcome
Continually keep abreast and drive the adoption of emerging best practices for recruiting
Engage in the continual improvement of Skylight's recruiting practices and operations, with a relentless focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion

What we're looking for:
Previous sourcing experience at an in-house or agency environment
Experience sourcing for product designers, user researchers, service designers, content designers, product managers, and engagement/delivery managers (a plus)
Experience conducting candidate phone screens in order to gather information such as general interest level, availability, and skills
Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and develop creative approaches to sourcing and engaging candidates
Experience and a passion for creating and ensuring positive candidate experiences
Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter to conduct effective search strategies
Experience ensuring the accuracy of data in our applicant tracking system (we currently use Workable)
Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of hiring and staffing in our professional services environment
Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion
Great organizational skills, including attention to detail
Great written and oral communication skills
A mindset and work approach that aligns with our core values
Experience working in a remote-team environment (a plus)
