Job Description:
Who We Are: The Intelligent Systems Division develops automated
solutions for commercial and government clients in multiple domains
including transportation (traffic management, connected automated
vehicle), manufacturing robotics, medical prognostics and
communication standards.Objectives of this Role: Serve in a junior
software developer role on teams developing software solutions in
technology areas such as Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS),
Integrated Corridor Management Systems (ICMS), and Decision Support
Systems (DSS).Participate in the software development process, from
initial requirement to implementation and testing.Design and code
products that meet business requirements on schedule and within
budget.Summer student, local year-round student, or co-op.Daily and
Monthly Responsibilities: Develop software solutions for
intelligent system applications.Participate in team meetings, code
reviews, etc as part of an integrated software development
team.Provide quality research and code, contributing directly to
the success of a project.Leverage skills brought from university to
provide new insights into coding paradigms, design patterns,
etc.Requirements: Must be pursuing a Graduate degree with a 3.00
GPA in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Computer
EngineeringClasses or knowledge in one of the following .NET, C#,
Java, JavaScript, Python, WPF, Git, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows,
Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Elastic Stack, TypeScript, HTML,
CSS, Angular, Kafka, AWS, Azure, GCPExcellent interpersonal skills
and the ability to work well both individually and as a member of a
project teamExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBasic
knowledge of object oriented design patterns, design patterns,
etc.A valid/clear driver's license is requiredSpecial
Requirements:Applicant selected will be subject to a government
security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for
access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S.
citizen.
