Purpose of JobAccessibility Governance Advisor I (100% Remote
Opportunity)About USAA's Enterprise Accessibility Office (EAO) The
Enterprise Accessibility Office ("EAO") is responsible for
overseeing USAA's Enterprise Accessibility Program, the Enterprise
Accessibility Policy, and the Enterprise Standards for
accessibility. As a governance function, EAO provides oversight and
guidance to the Business while monitoring adherence to the
Enterprise Accessibility Policy and related accessibility
standards. The team performs routine oversight inspections and
other oversight activities. The Enterprise Accessibility Office
operating model consists of the following core components that
support the operationalization and integration of accessibility
throughout the enterprise: Governance, Consultation, and Oversight.
EAO currently reports through the Chief Design Office and up
through to the Strategy and Brand Organization.Applies knowledge of
accommodating individuals with disabilities in establishing
internal standards, policies and procedures as they relate to a
particular domain (digital, documents, facilities, MSR service).
Provides guidance on best practices and innovative solutions to
meet accessibility standards. Collaborates with stakeholders to
identify and prioritize operational risks, develop mitigation
strategies and implement process controls. Gathers and monitors
data to evaluate and demonstrate the effectiveness of the
accessibility program. Serves as an ambassador and advocates the
importance of accessibility and its impact to members and the
association. Participates in project planning and execution to
ensure accessibility objectives are fulfilled.Job RequirementsAbout

- Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem
from business activities and the job role.

parties.

your responses.Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Computer Science, Computer
Human Interaction, Architecture/Engineering Design OR 4 additional
years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be
substituted in lieu of a degree (10yrs experience total in lieu of
a degree)
- 4 or more years operational experience in a digital, document,
building/construction, or customer service environment with
knowledge of accommodating individuals with disabilities.Preferred
Experience:
- Experience in Risk/Governance controls, inspections, and
oversight.
- Ability to deliver, adhere, and interpret accessibility
governance requirements.
- Experience in writing governance procedures, and
guidelines.
- Familiarity wit Title III Americans with Disabilities Act and
accessibility.
- Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
and digital accessibilityThe above description reflects the details

job.Compensation:USAA has an effective process for assessing market
data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You
are paid within the salary range based on your experience and
market position. The salary range for this position is: $72,900 -
$131,400.Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on
overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion
of the USAA Board of Directors.Geographical Differential:
Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible
employees working in locations where market pay levels are above
the national average. Shift premium: will be addressed on an
individual basis for applicable roles that are consistently
