The Account Executive - Business Markets Position
Sunnova Energy is searching for Account Executive - Business Markets to be responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts. The Account Executive develops new business and retains and services clients for a specific geographic region. Thriving in a remote, fast-paced, dynamic environment, the Account Executive plays a critical role in how solar energy will influence the community to bring a better future.
Account Executive - Business Markets Responsibilities

  • Generating and developing new business to meet specified sales goals
  • Maintaining and nurturing existing customer relationships
  • Responding to all customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Understanding and communicating information regarding company products, services, and policies and procedures to new and existing clients
  • Functioning as liaison between our customers and our operations staff
  • Ensuring that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time
  • Possessing and maintaining thorough knowledge of solar industry product information
  • Constantly thinking about how to improve processes
  • Providing timely and accurate reports as required
  • Attending and participating in business/trade events that impact business unit
  • Attending and participating in team strategic sales meetings
    Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 2-4+ years' experience in Energy/Solar sales
    • Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
      Preferred Qualifications
      • Previous experience in energy is a plus
      • 5+ years' experience in Solar Install sales or Energy sales
      • Experience with Salesforce software
        Additional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
        • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Excel, Word
        • Commitment to excellence and high standards
        • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
        • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
        • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
        • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
          Working Conditions
          • Remote-office environment
          • Estimated travel time: 25%

            • Extended periods of time working at computer workstation
