Morrell Masonry Supply, Inc. has immediate opening for a qualified Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Customer Service Representative to sell building materials in the Houston area. The Customer Service team will ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction within the company's policies and procedures with guidance directives provided by the senior management team. This position will partner with the local sales team. Continuous collaboration within this team is essential in leading the local branch to growth and success. The proper candidate should be able to work well under pressure, learn and adapt quickly, and maintain a can-do positive attitude.

*Essential Functions/Responsibilities: *

- Assist walk-in customers.

- Process customer orders and additional data into the computer system in a timely manner.

- Operate and balance cash drawer daily.

- Answer inbound calls on a multi-line phone system.

- Maintain effective communication with customers, management, and Outside Sales Representatives

- As needed, initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales.

- Continuously improve and maintain in-depth product knowledge.

- Focus on securing the profitable sales opportunity with each customer through excellent selling, service and problem-solving.

- Investigate and resolve customer complaints or customer service issues.

- Assist Outside Sales Representatives as needed

*Skills and Experience Required: *

- Minimum 2 years customer service experience.

- High School diploma or equivalent required.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Proficient with common computer programs, including Microsoft Office.

- Attention to details and ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.

- Knowledge of ERP system, Epicor (P21) a plus.

- Bilingual in English/Spanish required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time non-exempt salary position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 pm. All applicants must be able and willing to work overtime when required by management.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
