Position Title: Cybersecurity Task Lead-SME

Work Location: San Antonio, TX

Job Summary

Kai Honua, LLC has an immediate opening for a Cybersecurity Task Lead-SME who will work within a cohesive team environment and supports a large government client. This position is responsible for maintaining industry and government IT compliance standards.

Responsibilities (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:

• The candidate shall be able to provide senior level technical direction and engineering knowledge for cyber support activities.
• The most important skill the cybersecurity lead shall possess is the ability to assist the government P-ISSM to manage the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process using the eMASS Portal, to include RMF processes for on-premises, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS employments.
• The candidate shall be able to manage the system vulnerability identification and resolution process to support network accreditation process.
• Manage the ARNORTH enterprise configurations for the Army Endpoint Security Solution (AESS) and any follow-on products.
• Manage the ARNORTH Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) software and any follow-on products. The cyber team shall provide routine and ad-hoc scans of ARNORTH networks, analyze the results, and work with the Tier 3 team to implement corrective action.
• Manage the ARNORTH security information and event management (SIEM) software (currently SPLUNK, but potential to transfer to ELASTIC), configuring dashboards and providing routine and ad hoc reports as requested by the COR. The Cyber Lead shall work with the other Leads to implement any required corrective action. Job Requirements

  Education/Experience/Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or other related discipline is preferred or have equivalent experience.
  • Must possess and maintain an IT III level certification IAW AR 25-2 and an IAM-III certification IAW DoD 8570.01.
  • Minimum of four (4) years' supervisory experience.

    Physical Requirements
    
    Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
    
    Security Clearance
    
    Position may require a DoD security clearance. Must be a US citizen.
