Job Description:
POSITION DESCRIPTIONAs a Contracts Specialist at CNF
Technologies, you support the Contracts Manager and represent and
safeguard the company's interests with external and internal
communications with our customers and partners concerning Federal
Contracts, Subcontracts, Teaming Agreements, Purchase Orders and
Regulatory Compliance.MINIMUM/GENERAL EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree
in business or related field and two years of related
experience.Without a degree- 5 years of related
experience.FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:In this role you will:*
Conduct contract activities to ensure assigned proposals and
contracts with the US Government and other customers are in
compliance with all requirements.* Negotiates, supports, fact finds
and audits contractual agreements (Contracts, Subcontracts, TAs,
NDAs, Purchase Orders)* Proactively monitor all program changes to
ensure contract compliance and / or contract renegotiations are
addressed.* Prepares and / or provides ad hoc reports for executive
leadership.* Provide support in reviewing new contracts and
contract modifications for conformity to proposal requirements;
resolve any discrepancies; executes acknowledgement and all
associated documentation.* Proactively research, interpret, and
discuss FAR requirements in a timely manner with new contracts or
upon request.* Maintain contract and purchasing files in accordance
with prescribed plan.* Create purchase orders for subcontractors
and vendors in accordance with defined policies and procedures,
including the requests for quotes or proposals as required.*
Ability to multi-task, and communicate clearly with clients,
subcontractors and co-workers.REQUIREMENTS:Selected candidate will
be subject to a government security investigation and must meet
eligibility requirements for access to classified
information.LOCATION:Onsite at San Antonio, TX
