Job Description At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better placeFrom the seabed to outer space, you can contribute to work that matters with a company where diversity, equity and inclusion are shared valuesWe're committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that's welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growthFind your future with usBoeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for Experienced Control Center Team Captains to join our Site Integrations team in San Antonio, TXPosition Responsibilities: --- Ability to work and take initiative to resolve constraint that arise daily --- Lead and Collaborate with cross functional teams --- Conduct research to obtain constraint knowledge including parts and engineering details in order to track, status and resolve constraints --- Investigate and research future schedule to proactively identify constraints, attend line by line review meetings to communicate status --- Required to attend and or Lead Tier meetings --- Utilize Ship Side Action Tracker (SAT) system for purpose of tracking constraints --- Assist with development and implementing process and procedures of site --- Creating and presenting project proposals to Senior Leadership and to mechanic level --- Assist mechanics with specs and DWG understanding --- Assist shop with procurement and/or modification of identified tools --- Work with less knowledgeable mechanics and team mates to coach on processes and build knowledge and skills --- Assist with closure of quality corrective actions (IQDS) items and investigation of root cause and solutions --- Foster the values of speak, seek and listen to communicate emotional intelligence and with customer service mentality This position is expected to be 100% onsiteThe selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location optionsThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.SSecurity Clearance for which the US Government requires US CitizenshipAn interim and/or final U.STop Secret/ Single Scope Background Investigation (TS/SSBI) clearance post start is requiredSpecial Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this positionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):--- 3+ years of experience utilizing critical problem solving, working issues and developing procedures--- 3+ years of experience accessing aircraft data via computer systems and reading technical data--- 3+ years' experience in manufacturing maintenance and or modification of aircraft--- Intermediate Microsoft office skills, including creation of PowerPoint presentations and manipulation of data in Excel Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):--- Experience using GOLD and I-GOLD, Vipers, NCM (Non-Conformance System), Ship Side Action Tracker or similar software applications--- Ability to obtain a Yankee White Clearance--- Leadership Experience--- Project Management Experience--- Previous Line Side Control Center experience--- Experience with Depot level/ Modification maintenance Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.gBachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.gMaster+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this positionCandidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expenseDrug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies Shift: This position is rotational shift At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talentElements of the Total Rewards package include competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunitiesThe Boeing Company also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from workThe specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreementsPay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerationsSummary pay range: $79,050 -
