Job Description:

Accounting Clerk needed in West San Antonio. The Accounting Clerk computes, classifies, records, reconciles, and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records. Starting pay is $16.25 hourly, with a typical schedule of Monday - Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Primary Duties:

• Daily processing and transmission of overdraft privilege and share draft posting reports that includes the completion and processing of all exceptions.
• Daily processing and submission of returns, and share drafts via Tranzact software program.
• Responsible for processing, set-up and documentation of MasterCard products to include the daily transmission of Mastercard payments to PSCU on a daily basis.
• Responsible for handling Mastercard inquiries from members and internal staff.
• Maintain overdraft privilege program and handle repayment plan.
• Research debit and credit adjustments on members account as needed.
• Reviews and accurately posts all incoming wires daily and files all corresponding documents.
• Process outgoing wires.
• Set up new ACH originations.
• Print Corporate account statements from Tranzact on a daily basis.
• Serves as immediate back up to Accounting Clerk II.
• Attends Staff Meetings.
• Supports other departments as necessary. Requirements:
  • 2 years or related experience OR and Associate Degree in Accounting
  • Proficiency with MS Office
