Job Description:

Echocardiogram technician required to perform various cardiac imaging procedures, including echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, and stress testing, for patients from newborn to maturity.





Performs echocardiograms, including M-Mode, 2-Dimensional, conventional and/or color flow Doppler, and TEE echocardiogram. Conducts pediatric echocardiograms and provides electrocardiograms, 24-hour Holter monitor hook-ups, infant hearing screens, and stress testing.

--- Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
--- Provides procedures for patients from newborn to maturity.
--- Performs various cardiac imaging procedures.





**Education and Experience**

--- Graduate of an accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of clinical experience.
--- 6 months performing Echocardiograms.
--- Preferred experience: 1 year performing Echocardiogram.





**Certifications and Licenses**

--- Must have CCI, ARDMS, RDCS, or RCS.
--- Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
