As a Data Center Technician, you will:
Responsible for supporting various aspects of the data center ecosystem with an integrated focus on providing resiliency, redundancy and high availability of critical infrastructure supporting core operations. This position will work collaboratively within internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to ensure data center operations are aligned with defined requirements.
Provide support for new installation and migration of equipment; to include IT hardware, cables, power distribution, and other ancillary components
Conduct necessary maintenance and upgrade of systems requiring changes to infrastructure components
Diagnose, repair, replace and/or escort vendors in support of hardware failures and remediation activities
Decommission legacy hardware and complete required reconciliation processes
Maintain/Install Support infrastructure. (Cable trays, PDU's, Air handlers, etc.)


The ideal candidate will have:
High School Diploma
Has held the position of DC Ops Technician 1 for at least two years or have previous experience working in a Data Center environment (minimum 2 years).
Facilities knowledge: HVAC systems, Power Distribution Units, UPS Systems, etc.
Ability to perform complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, solution development and implementation
Have a solid understanding of network infrastructure components and applications
Must have a working understanding of TCP/IP networking
Have a solid understanding of host security (passwords, file permissions, file system integrity, security packages) and network security concepts
Be able to follow backup/recovery procedures and disaster recovery procedures.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
