Job Description Job Description Internal Communications & Collaboration · Own internal communications strategy and execution to support culture, engagement, and alignment. · Develop and distribute internal messaging via SharePoint, email, and other internal channels. · Partner with leadership and department stakeholders to translate organizational priorities into clear, timely communications. · Support change communications, leadership messages, and mission-centered storytelling. · Ensure employees are informed, connected, and aligned with strategic goals. External Marketing & Digital Presence · Oversee and maintain the organization’s website, coordinating updates through WordPress or comparable CMS platforms. · Create and manage content for digital channels including websites, email marketing, and social media. · Support business development initiatives with marketing materials, proposals, presentations, and campaign messaging. · Ensure accuracy, accessibility, and consistency across all external communications. Branding, Design & Creative Execution · Serve as a steward of the organization’s brand, ensuring visual and messaging consistency. · Design marketing and communication materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) · Develop branded templates, graphics, and collateral that support programs, events, and outreach. · Balance creativity with accessibility and inclusivity in all designs. AI-Enabled Communications & Innovation · Utilize AI tools to enhance content creation, editing, ideation, design efficiency, and workflow optimization. · Apply AI responsibly and ethically, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and mission alignment. · Stay current on emerging communication and marketing technologies to drive innovation and effectiveness. Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Partnership · Collaborate closely with Business Development, Programs, HR, IT, and Leadership. · Gather input from stakeholders and translate needs to be effective communication solutions. · Act as a trusted advisor on messaging, tone, and audience engagement. Measurement & Continuous Improvement · Track engagement and effectiveness of communication and marketing efforts. · Use insights and feedback to refine messaging, channels, and tools. · Continuously improve processes to increase clarity, reach, and impact. QUALIFICATIONS Required · Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience) · 3–6 years of experience in a communications, marketing, or hybrid role · Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills · Hands-on experience with: · SharePoint for internal communications · WordPress or similar CMS platforms · Canva and Adobe Creative Suite · Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders · Experience leveraging AI tools to improve communication or marketing outcomes · Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred · Familiarity with EOS or accountability-based operating systems · Experience supporting business development, outreach, or community engagement · Understanding of accessibility and inclusive communication best practices POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is an Exempt full-time position; Work schedule: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., but a work week of at least 40 hours is expected. Travel: This position requires travel according to operational needs; travel is often outside of the local area and overnight.
