BIM Designer-ElectricalDirect HireConverse, TX or Austin, TX--This position will assist in the virtual design (BIM) of large commercial electrical systems in the San Antonio area.Qualifications:--- Two years of experience in electrical BIM design--- High School diploma--- Detail oriented--- Able to work with the design team and BIM Manager to create shop drawings for an electrical installation.--- Communicate well with other team members, both orally and written.--- Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP or Revit for modeling building systems.--- Create shop drawings, room layouts, details, dynamic blocks, data extractions, etc.--- Be able to attend BIM coordination meetings both in-person and online. Must take notes and clear clashes.--- Proficiency in Autodesk Building Design Suite software with emphasis on Navisworks, Revit, and BIM 360.--- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and various image software for relaying information and quantities.--- Have a desire to learn and develop skills in the electrical industry.Preference:--- College degree, Journeyman's license, or min. 2yrs electrical trade experience with firm knowledge of the NEC--- Can interpret electrical submittal data and commodities.--- Find and write RFI's as required.--- Knowledge of electrical prefabrication.--- Industry certifications such as CM-BIM.--- Knowledge of Total Stations (Trimble, Top Con, Leica, Sokkia, etc.)--- Knowledge of Photoshop and web design for marketing with artistic talent.--Please apply within or contact Matthew.Werner@kellyservices.com--Why Kelly--?Your engineering skills are in demand, but how do you find the right fit?
