Alion Science & Technology is looking for talented, motivated team members to develop processes, methodologies, models, and communication tools that will enable our DOD Forces to achieve Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) Superiority and EMS control across all operational domains (air, ground, maritime, space, and cyber) and operational functions. These teams will provide Joint Force Commander (JFC) elements and Service units the authoritative technical and operational information required to achieve EMS superiority and conduct EMS operations.Responsibilities --- Master's degree in electrical engineering or related STEM discipline. --- 12 years of combined experience in the design, analysis, modeling, or testing of radar and LIDAR systems with applicability to air, space, maritime, and land operations. --- 5 years of combined experience with analytic tools ESRI ArcGIS/ArcInfo and MATLAB/Simulink. --- 5 years of combined experience with IC data repositories NIODB, USELMS, EWIR, and MEPED. --- Familiarization in communications systems or signal processing. Desired:--- Master's degree focused on analog and digital communications systems. --- 15 years of combined experience in the design, analysis, modeling, planning, or testing of communications systems with applicability to air, space, maritime, and land operations. --- 7 years of combined experience with analytic tools ESRI ArcGIS/ArcInfo and MATLAB/Simulink. --- 7 years of combined experience with IC data repositories NIODB, USELMS, EWIR, and MEPED. --- 5 years of combined experience with software tools BUILDER, IMOM/IMOM Engineer, or similar physics based models. --- 5 years of experience with MIDB. --- Education, experience or certification courses completed across a wide range of EMS disciplines such as: communications, electromagnetics, and signal processing.
