The Boeing Company's Business Systems Excellence organization is seeking a Lead Workday User-Center Design Analyst to join their team in a virtual capacity.

The Lead Workday User-Center Design Analyst is a Servant Leader championing our DevOps mindset, culture, and process/technical practices. They coach on leading practices in communication, integration, automation, and model close cooperation among all the people needed to plan, develop, test, deploy, release, and maintain a Solution. They have a sound understanding of HR processes and operational framework.

The ideal applicant for this role will have previous experience with Workday implementation and post implementation optimization.

The chosen applicant should have a User-Centered-Design / Human-Centered-Design mindset and be experienced at empathizing with users and developing problem statements that address the needs of our various employee personas. This role must have a solid grasp of Development Operations (DevOps) and understands how to break down organizational silos and develop a Continuous Delivery Pipeline through escalation of impediments, ensuring value delivery, and driving relentless improvement.

Position Responsibilities:
Functional Analysis in support of DevOps teams
Support DevOps teams (partnering with IT, HR Center of Excellence (COEs) and business process architects) by leading the analysis of problems and opportunities in order to formulate and develop new and/or optimized business requirements, capabilities and solutions aligned to enterprise strategies
Support business case studies for technology developments
Act as a consultant on the development, execution and coordination of system readiness testing
Provide subject matter Testing and Data Management Support for critical projects
Coordinate with business and technology teams integrating system and data requirements
Improve efficiency and practices associated with DevOps and Release on Demand in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
Workday Operational Support
Support recurring operational events and actions (Annual Comp Review (ACR), Annual Benefit Enrollment, Quarterly Performance Management, etc.)
Support Workday product offerings (HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Adaptive Planning, etc.) along with some legacy HR applications
Execute events in Workday, as well as EIBs and mass operation moves to support the events
Research, identify, and recommend industry best practices for solving business technology problems
Partner with IT to provide analysis of Workday feature/functionality research
Provide HR process and system thought leadership to HR COEs
Support the Workday Adoption Roadmap process
Drive an operational model that efficiently and effectively influences Workday functionality uptake by leveraging brainstorms, design partner, early adopter and other customer product management options
Post-Production Support
Provide Hypercare leadership and support for major releases of new capabilities
Partner with IT in administration and monitoring of systems post-implementation
Support change management and training of deployed systems
User Centered Design (UCD) leadership and coaching
Partner with cross-functional teams to establish and enhance existing UCD culture, processes and methods
Lead processes associated with User Centered Design, especially related to the Design and Evaluate stages of design processes
Drive continuous improvement of employee experience through aligning / optimizing HR technologies to employee needs
Help drive the Lean User Experience (UX) innovation cycle
Develop and coach team members
New work/project impact analysis
Facilitate open communication and fact-based decision making
Collaborate with Business Process Architects, HR COEs and IT to assess change impacts for incoming work requests
Assist with economic decision-making through feature and capability estimation

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in Seattle, WA.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

5+ years of experience in Requirements Management

3+ years of experience with requirements based testing

3+ years of experience with the Workday HR Management System

Excellent written and oral communication

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher

Prior HR experience

3+ years of experience with systems design, integration, and test

5+ years of experience in a role that required Project Management skills

3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

One or more of the following Workday Partner/Customer Certifications:
o Workday Absence

o Workday Time Tracking
o Workday HCM Core
o Workday Performance and Talent
o Workday Adaptive Planning

Extensive Workday EIB and Reporting experience

Experience developing and implementing process improvements

Experience in design thinking, user centered design, human centered design

Experience with the Azure Dev Ops

Experience with Lean-Agile / Scaled Agile (SAFe)

5+ years of experience as a data or business analyst or HR operational experience

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $87,570 - $162,630
