Job Description:

Who We Are: A multidisciplinary team of engineers, program managers, and technicians to develop spaceflight missions, spacecraft, spacecraft avionics systems, spacecraft payloads, and lighter than air systems.

Objectives of this Role: Develop ADCS subsystems for in-house developed spacecraft.
Design and analysis of satellite attitude determination and control systems.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: ADCS hardware performance specification including reaction wheel and torque rod sizing, sensor noise and performance characteristics, redundancy and fault management.
Develop high fidelity 6 degree.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelors with a 3.00 GPA in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineer, Aeronautical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
0-5 years: Experience with flexible body control, orbital maneuvering, filtering, fault management, software development, and navigation filtering
Strong understanding of classical dynamics, orbital mechanics, modeling and simulation, and software development
Must be capable of identifying and solving complex problems with little to no supervision or direction
Ability to work in an autonomously driven, and demanding research and development environment
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Must be able to successfully complete cradle to grave development of three axis stabilized spacecraft incorporating momentum, magnetic, and propulsion control
Must be interested in low thrust trajectory optimization for orbital maneuvering
A valid/clear driver's license is required

Special Requirements:Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
