Position: Salesforce Analyst / Administrator (Job Id:

This role is in support of Customer Experience business units,
inclusive of Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing.
The primary role of IT Application function is to analyze, design,
develops and maintain IT applications based on business
requirements across all business functionalities. Key deliverables
include using current programming languages and source code to
develop, test, debug complex applications and provide post
production support within the agreed time, quality, performance and
budget constraints. Working closely with key stakeholders, DBAs and
system administration to define and document technical
specifications and schedule.
- The Salesforce Analyst / Administrator will be embedded with a
dynamic, fast-paced team in IT responsible for creating and
supporting cloud/on-prem solutions using technologies such as
Salesforce CRM, AWS, Oracle ERP, Marketo, RingCentral, Tableau,
Snowflake, and more. The team supports key business capabilities
for including sales enablement, customer success, and marketing
using these integrated systems.
- Working closely with stakeholders, the Salesforce Analyst /
Administrator will understand, elicit, and translate requirements
for the development of new features, ongoing enhancements and
maintenance of systems that enable our teams to deliver a
world-class experience for our customers.
- Working with a team of other analysts, architects, and
developers, you will design, configure, develop, test, and maintain
Salesforce solutions within the agreed time, quality, performance,
and budget constraints. You will evaluate and implement third-party
tools to use with Salesforce and participate in the development and
maintenance of new and existing integrations with the
platform.
- The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with the
ability to map functional and non-functional requirements into
Salesforce features and functionality. Further, they will
demonstrate progressive leadership in business analysis and possess
strong knowledge of the software development life cycle. In
addition, the Salesforce Analyst /Admin will be expected to adhere
to documentation standards for any minor/major changes. Let's talk
about responsibilities:
- Consult with stakeholders to assess, analyze, recommend, and
implement business improvements and initiatives using
Salesforce.com
- Elicit and document clearly defined, verifiable and scalable
business requirements and stories
- Define and document processes, procedures, and data flows of
business systems
- Administer and configure Salesforce platform and related
services using the "configure first, code second" method
- Recommend out-of-the-box vs custom solutions for new features
or product enhancements
- Coordinate with development team to implement Salesforce
projects & enhancements
- Create reports or template mock-ups and requirements based on
enterprise reporting needs
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, performance testing
and user acceptance testing of new application functionality
- Perform impact analysis on new releases of features/functions,
and support their testing and implementation
- Identify and execute opportunities for Salesforce application
optimization, redesign, or development
- Work closely with the Data Team to ensure data integrity and
hygiene across all integrated systems
- Triage and perform daily support, escalating as needed
- Manage/conduct all maintenance tasks
- Use IT processes for documentation and approvals
- Stay up-to-date on new Salesforce features to provide
recommendations for process improvements and future
integrations
- Develop knowledge of how various systems in the landscape
integrate with other technologies and processes across the
business
- Strive to builds and maintain relationships and networks with
customer
- Foster spirit of teamwork and collaboration within team and
inter-teams globally and across regions
- Mentor junior team members to encourage growth within the
platform and actively assist with ongoing projects. Let's talk
qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.); in Information Systems or equivalent
preferred
- 3+ years' experience implementing solutions within Salesforce
Sales and/or Service Cloud
- 5+ years' experience implementing and maintaining technical
projects and systems
- Salesforce Certified Administrator is required
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator certification
strongly preferred; Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder,
Salesforce Certified Sale Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Certified
Service Cloud Consultant certification preferred
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, capabilities,
and limitations, including: standard and custom objects, security
and access control, user management, reporting and dashboards,
process automation, data hygiene, campaigns
- Strong analytical perspective and understanding of Salesforce
data models, automation, and integration capabilities
- Clearly understanding of the best practices to be followed in
Salesforce configuration and development
- Experience with Salesforce sandboxes, release cycle, change
management process and development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Components, and
other Salesforce development tools
- Understands the functionality & impact and implements necessary
components from AppExchange for practical business use
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle for
projects
- Good understanding of business processes and ability to
simplify them
- Excellent interpersonal verbal, oral, and written communication
is a must
- Attention to detail, quick learner, positive attitude,
self-motivated, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced
environment
- Critical thinking and strong and independent problem-solving
skills
- Very good organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with various tools including but not limited to MS
Office, MS Visio, Confluence, Jira
- Prior experience working within an Agile software development
process
- Desire and ability to conduct data and process analysis using a
variety of query tools including SQL highly desirable
- Prior experience designing, developing, or modifying
business-facing reports highly desirable
- Some project management experience to lead small to medium
sized projects highly desirable.
