Ensures business data and analysis requirements are met by properly applying data concepts, including data structures, collection and cleansing, and structured and unstructured data analysis and reporting. Ability to collect, analyze, manipulate, and report on CBRE data.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Performs ad-hoc, strategic analysis of structured and unstructured data across multiple data sources, reflecting real estate markets and the operations of real estate assets.Develops data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize data to generate insights and addresses reporting needs.Defines data requirements and gathers and validates information, using judgment and statistical tests.Utilizes programming and analytical tools, including open source programs including SAS, SQL, Oracle, or similar relational database tools to formulate models and/or extract insights. Well versed in knowledge of creating algorithms, identifying patterns and insights from structured and unstructured data sets utilizing graphs, trees and/or other data representation techniques as required.Identifies and troubleshoots data integration and integrity issues in cooperation with the appropriate CBRE business units; Designs work flows and procedures.Identifies opportunities to maximize data usage, applying modeling and optimization methods to develop new strategies and improve business performance.Develops ad-hoc analytics and reporting based on analysis of existing data sources, utilizing a variety of tools (i.E. Conga Composer, Salesforce, Tableau).Exhibits analytical rigor, judgment, and ability to present a comprehensive 'data story' to multiple levels of the organization.Other Duties as AssignmentsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborates with co-workers within a work unit and/or project on work to be completed but is not responsible for formal supervision of employees.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEMinimum BA/BS from a 4-year accredited institution and a minimum of 1-3 years of significant experience in technology implementations and client solutioning.Salesforce, Tableau, SQL, Conga Composer and other relevant business intelligence experience is preferred. Real estate experience a plus. Experience working as technical support within an institutional transactional environment, such as banking or consulting is a plus.CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSESSalesforce Certification recommended.COMMUNICATION SKILLSAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles in a pre-designed style and format. Ability to effectively respond to complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management. Ability to present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. Team Player, ability to cross-collaborate with various teams across the platform. Ability to deliver results for deliverables with tight deadlines.FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGERequires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages and quickly identify obvious discrepancies in large sets of data.REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to interpret multiple sources of data to create threads of opportunity or value creation.OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIESProficient in web-based technology. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce, SQL, Tableau and other business intelligence tools.SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITYDecisions made with understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.
