Job Description:
Description Responsible for performing a variety of
administrative, fiscal, and data-related responsibilities in
support of various department divisions, staff, and operations,
while also serving as a receptionist and providing a variety of
administrative support. Performs assigned tasks related to
developing, maintaining, planning, and coordinating support
activities for internal and external communications. Responsible
for developing educational media material to advance the
department's community outreach efforts. Performs tasks related to
managing the department's web content and social media platforms
and activities. Responsible for maintaining a variety of records
and files and preparing a variety of reports. Minimum
Qualifications Graduation from high school supplemented by
coursework in communications, marketing, or a related field and
preferably three (3) of experience in marketing development
processes, web content development, social media management, and
desktop publishing; or any equivalent combination of education and
experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and
abilities. Supplemental Information Required to be available and
work during regular office hours as well as during nights and
weekends during times of major emergencies and/or disasters (or the
potential thereof), typically as part of the County's Emergency
Operations Center staff and/or as part of maintaining department
operations.This position is considered an essential ALPHA employee
position. Physical Demands Must be physically able to operate a
variety of machinery and equipment, including computers,
