Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Front Desk Agent that will greet every guest warmly and with a smile. They must maintain the safety, functionality, and appearance of the Lobby and front of house, and ensure that our guest have a perfect experience. They must be able to explain all hotel policies clearly and thoroughly to the guests and ensure everything is pleasing from the customers view point, including Front Desk, Lobby and Coffee Bar, Common Hallway and Guest Bathroom. The Front Desk Agent must present a personable, helpful and professional image at all times.
Responsible for efficient check in and check out for all guests at the hotel.
Maintains all pamphlet information regarding our Resort at the desk, restroom, Eco and is able to present all information knowledgably.
Works in conjunction with the Concierge staff to assist with booking packages and activities and ensuring that the appointments are accurate. Knowledgeable in all aspects of the Resort to be able to answer various questions asked by our guests
Computes bills, collects payment, authorizes pre-payment, deposits, authorizations, voids authorizations and does all changes/transfers for all folios on a daily basis.
Maintains coffee bar, deck areas, Front Lobby and guest bathroom at all times.
Closes down each shift by verifying all payments, cash and transfers/moves are accurate.
Read emails, respond to any directed at you
Walking tour
Ensure list of to do's is accomplished
Ensure that everyone is doing what they should be
Ensure that all tasks on the daily task checklist are being completed and initialed.
Identify tasks not on the task lists and ensure they are completed
Aid Management and Supervisors with normal daily operations
Responsible to ensure that all guests enjoy their stay, are given the opportunity to enjoy all of our amenities, and will return with their friends
Responsible to ensure cash flow thru the POS terminals is correct & accounted for
If cash is running low, notify the Supervisor
Responsible to complete all forms and checklists correctly
Responsible to report any conflict or incident
Notify the Shift Supervisor as soon as possible
Responsible to ensure that all facilities are functioning properly
Email maintenance WO's and copy manager and supervisor
